I’ve found a lot of hotels but I’m not sure what area to look for… We want peace and quietness, beach and a comfortable room, not too pricey
suggestions?

I went through a very dark chapter in my life and got involved in drugs, in no time at all, i was deeply depressed, lost my job, my family, my freinds. Not that i could blame them, i wasnt very nice to be around back then. Anyway it didnt take long before the cash ran out and the crimes started, to pay for my habbit. Like i said it was some time ago, about 5 years, but in that 5 years i have pulled myself back together, regained my family, my freinds and a promising career ahead of me. Unfortunatley i also have quite a few drug possesion charges, 1 count of supply amphetamines and quite a few fraud charges for wich i went to prison for almost 2 years. I realise this may be hard to swallow, but can anyone tell me somewhere (overseas) that i could take my partner and kids to next year when we get married for our honeymoon, it would mean a great deal to us both if anyone has any knowlege of countries who DONT frown upon such things for a simple holiday. Maybe it may have to be wytsundays!

I will be going to Malaysia for honeymoon on Feb 4 2011. We will be staying there for a week. Our tickets are already booked.

Is it a good time to visit Perhentian Islands? I heard it is off-season.

As of now, we are planning Langkawi. What are the best beaches and hotels in langkawi.

Are there any other options. We wont be travelling in Malaysia and want to relax in a very beautiful location by the beach side.
I havent made any bookings yet as I am totally undecided… I love to go to Perhentian but it depends on whether is on-season.

I have posted about my husband’s dads alcohol problem before. I mentioned how it has had an effect on our marriage (only been married 3 months) because we never really had our honeymoon period. It went straight to dealing with family issues. I know that sounds selfish but i feel kinda sad about that. He knows this too.

Moving out isn’t an option – i have mentioned it before and it just annoyed him. I know he wants to be there for his dad and try to do whatever he can to help while we are there. He only wants to move out once we start a family – which i dont want to do right now. At the same time i want to do my bit to help and show my husband support.

I feel a bit let down, i don’t know why. He doesn’t organise to do anything with me or make that effort to spend any one on one time with me. I am staying at my mums at the moment. And he hasn’t phoned me once, he’s just texted me here and there.

I feel so bitter about stuff. I just can’t help it. I feel like why should it be me thats always asking him for his time? Why should i even have to ask him for it? We’re newly wed and we should be happy. But i’m not! Its like now even when he tries to talk to me, i just feel so p*ssed off about the way things are, that i can’t be happy with him.

I have come to terms with the fact that his dads alcoholism is gonna be an ongoing issue. But why are little things getting to me so much? He asked me to come back today but i think i need a couple of extra days at home to think.

I guess what i’m asking is, how do i move on from feeling bitter about us not doing coupley things together? Deep down even i know family should be a priority first – if it was my dad i would be how he is. So why does it bother me so much!
What kind of situations have u been in, and how did u move on from it even if u werent happy with the outcome?

I’m getting married in Aug, and we’re on a tight budget. I need help on finding a romantic honeymoon spot that won’t have us eating Cup-o-noodles for the next year.

My fiance are booking hotels in Italy for our honeymoon in October, I noticed that many of the hotels are affordable during “high” season which is during the summer, but then double as soon as business slows down. Shouldn’t prices go down to encourage customers to stay? Should we wait longer to book our hotel?

If you have stayed at a SANDALS resort, or more specifically SANDALS MONTEGO BAY could you please give me some pointers or tips/advice.

What are the good places to eat, tours, and such? How far in advance (honeymoon is in November) should we schedule the candle light dinner, spa treatments, tours, etc. Or should we book these at all? Did you experience good/bad with these options?

My Fiancee and I have booked our honeymoon there, and it is already a done deal – so please don’t tell me to book elsewhere, as that is not an option. I am seeking positive advice or tips from someone who has already stayed there.

I would like to plan a honeymoon to visit Rome, Venice, Florence, Paris, and Dubai. While we need to do this somewhat affordably, we don’t want to stay in crap hotels or hostels. Is this even possible? Any advice on your travels to Europe?
