Help! My fiance and I have been looking into a Mediterranean cruise for our honeymoon. Anyone know if it is better to book through a travel agent or a cruise line? There are so many out there! I also learned that travel agents make their money by bringing business to companies. Does that mean they will really give us the best deals/spots or will they be trying to sell a particular place to put money in the pocket? Any information you can share will be VERY appreciated! Thank you for your time!

We want to dive and snorkel, and definately some place with gorgeous beaches we can swim at. We want good nightlife, good food, and we are on a budget so nothing too expensive like St Barts or the Caymans. I was thinking St. Thomas, because I’ve been there already and loved it, or Belize for the diving and jungles. Some other options are St. Lucia and the Dominican Republic. Has anyone been to either of those?
Also, my fiance doesn’t like cruises. We would prefer to stay somewhere on the beach, in a hotel so we can sleep in and not have to wake up early every day for cruise excursions.
