I’m looking for a great hotel for my honeymoon next summer… and I would prefer to stay somewhere that is a well known hotel chain. I keep finding really nice pictures of the Sheraton hotel on their website… but on google images they’re not all so great. Can anyone tell me how it really looks both inside and out?
I’ve asked probably 4 or 5 questions regarding marriage on here. I am tired of this but this is the best results as far as expressing myself that I have experienced. Heres my situation. I am in my early twenties. I have been married to my wife for 3 years. We have been together on and off since high school. I am in the military and we have been married for one of my deployments. The first year and a half werent really the honeymoon stage because I was gone all of the time. Now however I am at a unit where I have been in the states for a little over a year. We cannot get along. Everything turns into a fight. We tried marriage counseling. I have tried going to an individual counselor for help communicating. We have tried books, cds, and it just goes back to the same thing. I feel like we have changed alot. I used to want to do whatever it took to make her happy. At that time I felt like she loved and respected me but now I feel like Im just there to be treated as she wants. For example my father was hospitalized two weeks ago. I recieved the red cross message and went home for a week to be with him. She came along with me. She kept making it seem like a big deal that all I wanted to do was spend time with the family. She feels that I cater to my mom to much. Maybe I do Im not sure but either way when I am up visiting my family wasn’t the time to start drama. I dont feel comfortable visiting home because Im always on guard with if she is going to be happy or not. Shes worked for the past 2 months full time. She has been in school that my benefits have been paying for for the past year. I do side construction jobs quite frequently for extra spending money. If I want to spend money on anything its a huge deal but she drops 200-400 dollars a month on clothes easily. I couldnt get the time off work so she went to Paris/venice with her family on vacation. I sent her with a good amount of cash for fun while she was there. I just called her to check in on how shes doing and she gives me the 3rd degree about how Im spending money. I am tired of this. I could go on and on. She takes her wedding ring off when we fight and goes out with her friends but I have to let her know every move I make. I dont think I want to be with her any more. But Im concerned that if I pull the trigger and seperate that It will be a big mistake later on. Has anyone had this experience? I am tired of working hard towards goals and dreams and coming home to someone who doesnt care. I just want to feel that I am treated with consideration. Maybe I am selfish if this is so let me know I have thick skin you wont hurt my feelings. I just need some real legit advice because I dont want to look back 30 years down the road and realize that I spent my life with someone that I really dont like or want to be around.
