what do you think of a small 35-40 person wedding, with close friends and family, 2 bridesmaids 2 grooms men 1 maid of honor 1 best man, im from the east coast, so we would have to travel far, but we would save ALOT of money ALOT!, even with a honeymoon, wedding, reception, plane,hotels, it wouldnt be tacky, chessy, the place is so nice on a lake, and the package comes w/ everything, limo videographer photographer bubbles minister doves when we kiss flowers for the grooms men bridal party ..etc. everything, you would need, we wouldnt even have to look

the only thing we would need to get are invites, dress, tuxs

Well, I procrastinated a nice long year (and changed destinations a few times) for our wedding….
The date never changed, but it’s coming up FAST!

We’ve finally just said “Let’s just do Vegas” because everyone that attends is bound to have fun.

We want to save some serious money for the honeymoon (Bangkok and Phucket Island, Thailand ) so our budget is going to be anywhere between $50 to $2,000.
We’re looking for something a little more classy than a drive-thru wedding, but less showy than a wedding package at Cesar’s Palace. Something simple and intimate… nothing that would require a large budget for decorations or venue rentals…. (all that crap that goes into a blowout wedding).
We’re both athiest, extremely laid-back and easy going. We don’t want a church/chapel wedding, though we don’t want to just sign a license at the JOP (mostly this is me refusing to spend my wedding day in a government building). We just want some sort of affordable ceremony surrounded by our family and friends, but also fun and unique.

Opportunity for photos is a must. I have a family of photographers, including myself, so something aesthetically pleasing is also a must (since the ole fiance hates his photo taken, this might be the one opportunity I’ll get where he’d HAVE to be in pictures).

I know, it’s totally cliche’ to get married in Vegas and really quite “un-unique”… but I know there are some creative folks with great ideas out there!

My sister and her fiance are planning a wedding and reception in their hometown in Buffalo, but since most of her family is relocated to florida the family that can’t go to that wedding is all meeting up with them during their honeymoon in florida at WDW. They are staying at a separate resort from the rest of us and we are having one planned day of everyone together and the rest unscheduled so the honeymooners can decide what they want to do with family and when they want to. Back to the question, I’m her Maton of Honor and have made a welcome to disney package with custom water bottles, snack, disney info (its his first time and her second time-the last time she went was when I took her for her 6th birthday) I want to get it to their room for them for their checkin as a special surprise. We will arrive a bit before them so I may be able to get to their resort to drop it off but will disney put it in their room or hold it for them? or would it be better to ship to the resort ahead of time and let them pick it up when the arrived? If anyone has done something similar I’d love to hear how you did it and what your experience was!

HI. I have never eaten inside the castle at the magic kingdom, but thought it would be a nice place to eat for our honeymoon wedding night dinner. I’ve read some info on it, and the menu, but i’m wondering how the food is, is it romantic, is it a character experience, is it crawling with kids?? Anyone know if there’s tables out of the way, so we can feel more secluded? Are there any good views? thanks!!! Oh, we decided on the Magic Kingdom because it is our wedding night and new years eve, so we wanted to stay in the magic kingdom to eat. I hear it fills to capacity early on new years eve, so we’ll eat there. Is it worth the 2 table service? Do they include your photo package w/ the cost or do you pay extra for it? thanks again.

i want a destination wedding more than anything. it’s what i’ve always wanted. i heard it was cheaper than a traditional wedding (not the reason i’m having one, it’s just a plus). when i finally find a decently priced package, the airfare is over $1,000! plus since my parents are giving us money as our gift to plan our wedding with, i felt that we should pay their way as well. does anyone have any tips, comments, suggestions. it would be greatly appreciated!

i’m concerned about my budget b/c when i return from my honeymoon, i’m having a large reception with all our friends and family.

I’ve been with my fiance for 5 years and we have a 2-year-old son..we’re so ready to be married! I’ve been looking into wedding stuff for years, my mom and I are kind of obsessed with it haha. But I’ve been stressing out about money, we both have huge families and with them it’s either all or nothing…we can’t just invite half because some people would be upset. Wedding venue prices are high and the cheap ones look…really cheap! So we’ve been thinking of the cheapest options, such as having it in our home, but even then we’d have to have a tiny guest list and it would still cost thousands of dollars because of chairs, tables, linens, attire, decorations, cake, food, photographer etc.

So we had the idea of going to the Beaches resort in Turks & Caicos, just us and our son. We could get married on the gorgeous beach, get a photographer and just have an intimate ceremony. We’d be having a wedding, “honeymoon”, and an amazing family vacation all at once. We calculated the estimated total cost of the trip, wedding package and misc & the cost of that would be the cost of a small, half a*sed wedding here.

So far my mom is the only one we’ve told about this and she’s heart broken. She really want to see us get married, watch my dad walk me down the aisle and all that jazz. Now my fiance thinks everyone is going to react this way. If someone I was close to was doing this I’d be kind of disappointed that I couldn’t be there, but I’d still be happy for them! If they had a wedding with only a few peopel and didn’t invite me, I’d be upset. But just getting married by themselves, how could you be so heartbroken over that?

I want to be able to disembark (leave boat) at Alexandria port since it would involve additional cost returning by air from Venice, against my bitter judgement to complete the trip.

My question:

Can NCL agree that I disembark at Alexandria so that it’s closer to home.

I know that I’ll pay for the whole voyage for both of us, but I wanna make sure they allow people to disembark at their preference, If there is like a form for commercial purposes that I forfeited the rest of the journey (Venice leg of the trip) I’d be happy to sign..

My fiancee is taking the pill. She never has and just started on it exactly one month ago. She took the last pill about two days ago, and according to the information booklet on the package, she should have started menstruating the day after. But counting today, 3 days have passed, and she hasnt started menstruating.
We have not had sex. Ever. She is a virgin, hoping to have her first time with me on our honeymoon next week, We´re getting married in 5 days.

My question is, if the pill is supposed to make her period be more “exact”, what happens if she doesnt start menstruating when its supposed to, according to the “pill’s calendar”? Can we be sure its still safe to have sex?

Does this inacuracy on her cycle mean that the pill is not working and that she might get pregnant?

I am planning my honeymoon trip at end of Feb, i am thinking to visit one of any place in Thailand, Malaysia or Mauritius. I want to know where is best beaches among these three location and in feburary which is place is best to visit.
I heard lot about Langkawi ,phuket, pattaya … i would appreciate if somebody can guide me to choose any location among these.
