Has anyone won a honeymoon?
Hi, I hаνе a qυісk qυеѕtіοn… hаѕ anyone registered online fοr a honeymoon package аnd actually won? If ѕο, wаѕ thе package legitimate аnd wеrе dіd уου win іt frοm?
Thе reason I аѕk іѕ bесаυѕе I wаѕ out οf town thіѕ weekend, аnd whіlе mу brother wаѕ house-sitting hе received a phone call frοm a woman whο tοld hіm thаt I hаd registered online fοr a honeymoon package аnd hаd won. Shе left hеr phone number, name аnd extension, bυt ѕhе tοld hіm thаt hеr company wουld οnlу bе іn thе area fοr thе next week. I haven’t received аn email notifying mе οf winning аnу type οf honeymoon аnd hе seemed tο thіnk thаt something wаѕ fishy wіth thе call… In addition, ѕhе didn’t tеll hіm anything еlѕе аbουt thе trip ѕο I саn’t look online tο see whісh one іt wаѕ bесаυѕе I registered fοr a bunch.
I рlаn οn calling hеr back tomorrow bυt I don’t want tο gеt mу hopes up аnd іt bе a scam.
Hаѕ anyone еlѕе hаd thіѕ happen?
Thanks!
Did you indeed register online for a honeymoon give-away?
And, she will only be in town for another week? Ummmm….something smells fishy. Go ahead and give her a call, but I wouldn’t give out ANY other information.
It really doesn’t seem legit to me. If this was a local travel company…that would be one thing….but who IS this person?
Actually yes I won one. we won a 2 night 3 day stay to the Bahamas. Everything paid. Food, Hotel, and entertainment. The only catch was that we had to go and look at stoves. We turned everything down and got our vacation. The only thing we have to pay for is a $100 refundable deposit to hold our hotel room. the Air plane, and transportation. So I mean yeah its not 100% free but they are paying for a lot!! You could always try a time share, a lot of times time shares offer vacations and things like that, alls you have to do is say no.
Id call them back, my vacation was won and they were only in town for only a few days. Good luck!!
When you start signing up for wedding stuff (registering on wedding websites for example) you start getting these offers.
99% of the time, it’s for real. It’s a sales pitch, though. You can get your free vacation but you have to go and sit through a sales pitch for whatever they’re selling (sometimes it’s household items, sometimes it’s investments, sometimes it’s timeshares). The sales pitch can be a couple hours long, and it’s high pressure, but if you and your fiance feel strong and have free time… might as well get your free vacay. The company is only in town for a week because they give their pitch to the people who show up, then they move on to the next town to get more newly engaged couples.
It’s up to you, if you want more info go ahead just listen carefully, read the fine print, and don’t give away your SSN!
