Exactly how does one go about breaking up with a boyfriend of 16 months with the reason being that there’s just little or no romantic feelings left for that person? I guess that supposed “honeymoon stage” is long over. Would like to soften the blow of the news as much as possible without sugarcoating it. This is also a long distance relationship where he is away at school 4 hours away.

we are 29. been together for 6mos. He was married before about 5yrs ago and lasted only 4months. He was also leaving with ex g/f for about 1yr. He tends to talk about ex wife like ex: telling about how much they spend on wedding, where they went on honeymoon, and one time tried to get my opnion on what kind of rings i liked and showed me what ring he had bought her and what ring he had. Also we were cleaning some old things of him and he had his wedding pic still. I didnt really say anything. when we had a couple of months also found some pics of ex g/f but he threw them away in trash but wedding pics he still has them. Im very simple girl but feel like he says he loves me but cant forget his past. I have told him but he says its hard cuz he was heartbroken. I try to understand him but makes me mad when he brings them up in conversation. We plan to wed someday. And feel like if my ring is not as nice as hers he doesnt love as much as he did her. Has anyone had to deal with this??

I am getting married on June 27 and have planned a trip to Myrtle Beach. However, with the wild fires on the news I am wondering if this is still good destination. I can still cancel if I decide to so I was wondering if anyone in or around the area or that has family in or around the area could tell me if the area of North Myrtle Beach has been negatively affected by the fires and if there will still be signs of it (ie smell and damage) by the time we will be honeymooning there the week of June 28th.

My fiance and I are getting married soon and are planning a trip to Washington DC for our honeymoon. If anyone has any ideas for us on what we can do while we are there please share. Also, if anyone knows of any good hotels that aren’t too pricey (130.00/night or less) please share also. Thanks! Also, we will have 2 full days there.

i hear it is mild, sunny, still air, dry, but between 40-60f degrees. is that true? or is there a high chance that there will be snow, high winds, unpleasant weather? we’re travelling for our honeymoon – and for the benefit of seeing such a naturally beautiful place, we’re willing to put up with a little chilly air – we’re not “sunning our selves on the beach” types, though we would be bummed out if it were cold/damp/wet/misterable weather. would really appreciate any perspective you have.

What courses or career path should one take in order to become a professional wedding planner? I’m currently an interior design major, which I feel would be helpful in creating a beautiful look/mood for wedding, but I don’t know if there’s a major that is preferred when looking into this career.
