Ok my fiance and I are planning our wedding. We hope to have our wedding next to a river in Alabama. Our colors are Chocolate and turquoise blue. What would be some ideas for the wedding cake? I want to keep it traditional but in the same way kidda incorporate our theme into the cake. Just nothing over the top. You know?

I am getting married on Memorial Day weekend next year and will be going on my honeymoon directly after. My fiance and I have looked into several honeymoon ideas but we are stuck in finalizing what we should do. We are going on a cruise leaving from Barbados for 7 nights because we wanted to include our guests in our honeymoon by allowing them to choose the excursions we go on. Then, we wanted to do something more personal and private for the second half of the honeymoon.

Currently, we are booked at Jade Mountain resort for 5 nights on the total romance package. After reading many reviews we have learned that this may not be the right honeymoon location for us. We loved the secluded and romantic vibe of Jade Mountain. You really don’t have to leave your room for any reason because you have a pool in your room with an amazing view but when you do leave your room, under the package there is plenty to do. We are now turned off because the temperature in the pools are around 70 degrees max (freezing to us Floridians!) and the infinitely pools were the main reason we wanted to go to this resort! For the amount of money we will be spending we want to make sure we like everything about the resort and if I won’t even get in the infinitely pool then it may not be worth it.

Please let us know if you have any suggestions or comments about where we can go on our honeymoon (keeping it in the Caribbean and preferably all-inclusive). Thank you in advance!

My fiance and I are trying to plan our honeymoon. Is there much to do in Alaska? he doesnt really enjoy the beach but he will go if it makes me happy so I have also looked into Bora Bora.

Does anyone have any romantic ideas for honeymoons? We would like to be in a private cabin or something like that no hotels preferably. Also we do not eat fish so that is one worry about Alaska.

Just looking fro something private and romantic with a reasonable price.

We both enjoy Texas and land out west but this will be in March which is tornado season.
But we want something a bit unique and romantic that will be fun and peaceful
Also, we do not enjoy swimming so no snorkeling

We´re getting married in Australia next July, so we have a lot of great destinations to choose from nearby…Our perfect idea of a honeymoon is the typical tropical island, blue water, cocktails etc…but also we would like to go somewhere a little exotic too. Another option would be Thailand but Í already spent some time there and want to go somewhere I have never been. Any ideas?

We are getting married next year April 21st. We were planning on going on a honeymoon the week after we get married so around the 28th… We were planning on going to Negril Jamaica.. then we found out it was rainey season.

Since then we have tried to think of other places to go. < he doesn't want to go to Hawaii >

My husband and I got married in September, but did not have money for a honeymoon, and in fact he had to work the following day. We did not get to celebrate our marriage, except for a short night at a local hotel. Well, he is about to get a raise, and with the money from that we will be able to take some sort of short honeymoon/vacation. However, I am having a hard time coming up with ideas. We have a toddler whom we would have to arrange to have a caretaker for. Because I love him to death but I haven’t spent more than 5 hours away from him since he was born, I need a vacation. And my husband and I definitly need some time to reconnect, he has been having a lot of stress at work, and we are going to be planning for another baby soon. What are some good ideas for a relatively cheap get away. We live in the chicago land area. I would love to go somewhere else (out of state) but I dont know costs of flights or trips like that. Any good ideas of what we could do? Thanks in advance!

We were looking into Sandals but don’t know if iay be to commercialized or not. We want it to be extremely romantic with great food.

I’d love to go overseas, but our budget does not quite allow that. So, it looks like we need to stay within the US. Any ideas?
