Hi…I am getting married in July and want to Plan a Honeymoon abroad to some place near India. My budget is Rs.40-60K max. (4-5 days)
I want to know:
1. Best places to visit during that time of the year.
2. Is it for best to book a package or just book the flight tickets and head there, take it from there?
3. Some recommended contacts for package dealers (I put up in Bangalore-originally from Delhi)

I might have to go to India for my cousin’s wedding and I wanted to know what each side does in the wedding. We are punjabi and Sikhs’.

My understanding is that it is a party arranged by the groom’s family, in the groom’s city, to celebrate the wedding and to introduce the bride to their family and friends. It is usually held 2 or 3 days after the wedding.

Few other people say its just another function which happens the same day of the wedding in the same venue where people can give gifts, etc , which in my thinking, is part of the wedding function itself, not a reception.

I know there are no strict rules but what is the usual procedure, specially in Gujarati weddings?

I am located in Pune, Maharashtra. I am looking for a calm soothing place for honeymoon in mid of July this year. I am planning to go for 4-5 days.

As in mid of July, there will be heavy rainfall in most famous honeymoon locations. I want some information and suggestions on best honeymoon locations in India in rainy season.

Not interested in too many outdoor activities, but want to spend some of the best time with nature.
