I am going to Dubai for honeymoon. Is two weeks too long? Also thinking of staying at Atlantis.. Any hotel or resort suggestions?

My fiance and I are looking to plan a honeymoon sometime around next August and we are looking for ideas.
1. First off price is our biggest concern.
2. We would like to go somewhere exciting and possibly exotic for about a week.
3. We are looking for more of a relaxing honeymoon as opposed to spending half of it driving in a car or going on tours.
4. We are looking for about a week long honeymoon.
5. We also would love to be able to do once in a lifetime sort of things like skydiving or cave spelunking.
6. We would probably be flying out from either Chicago or Detroit to give you some sort of idea where we are at.
7. Something all inclusive would be cool if there was enough things to do but it might be too much on the touristy side.
8. We both love exotic foods too.

We’re thinking of going to the Dominican Republic next October and we’re not sure if we should use a travel agent or book ourselves? Could I please get input and personal experience, like who did you use if you recommend a travel agent or what online site did you book through?

Our honeymoon is next year in August!! We want a honeymoon package deal with the hot tub in our room, roses, wine. all that romantic stuff. has anyone been to florida and had this package for there honeymoon? please help! we want to stay for a whole week near clearwater, tampa, or orlando! thanks

I’ve got a million ideas for a destination wedding (a small, intimate one in maybe Maui or Oahu), but really don’t know where to start!

Since I’ve never been to Hawaii before, should I choose a resort with a wedding coordinator and do the wedding that way or should I pick my “honeymoon” hotel to stay in and just hire a coordinator to help with a wedding in a beach/garden setting somewhere else?
Any recommendations on who to call???

We are a younger couple so we do not have piles of money to spend, but we do not want to pass up on anything that might be an opportunity of a lifetime. We are also pretty adventurous/outdoorsy so anything like hiking, surfing, snorkeling, ect. we will consider doing. I need information on spots to go to. Like best surfing on Ohau, best hiking on big island, deep sea fishing off big island, anything like that. Even suggestions on nightclubs, hotels, shopping, or other things that i might have thought about.

She’s throwing me a ‘surprise’ bridal shower type thing this saturday. My friends and I live in NY.. she’s in PA and having it there. She told all my friends who are willing to take the drive and have a way to get there that they cannot give me any sort of ‘dirty’ gift like undergarments for the honeymoon.. or basically anything that can’t be opened in a church with my family there.. which is now my bridal party.. in a church with my father and elementary aged nephews there…

The thing I’m really upset about.. I had a specific photo I was using in my invitations.. and I showed it to her and told her that. She asked to make a copy cause she really liked it so I had no problem with that. She then took it and sent it out in all of HER bridal invatations (which she sent to everyone on my side of the family).. I needed to use that picture in my invites and I just stayed up all night working on them. I don’t have time to do anything else and I’m REALLY upset with her. What do i do?
I haven’t sent mine out yet… but everyone already has the picture now so it seems stupid to include it.. she’s ALWAYS tried to show me up.. and she’s doing it again with this. She did it on purpose.. and she still doesn’t know that I know about the bridal thing. I’m really hurt that she’d try to screw me over with my wedding details.. it’s really low.
My sister is a cold hearted b****… she actually had the bridal thing in PA and said to my fiance “it doesn’t matter where I have it.. her friends don’t care enough to show up anyways..” .. which is RUDE! and totally untrue.. I have friends flying in from all around the world to come to my wedding… I dunno.. I just worked on my invites by hand for 10 hours and the picture is something it needed. If I don’t get the invites out today people won’t get them in time. Her fiance left her 2 years ago and she’s been VERY bitter and hurtful since the wedding is drawing closer..
Nevermind.. unless you had a sister that since you were born was throwing plastic bags into your crib to try to get your to accidently kill yourself I guess you don’t get it. I just thought we were past this. The only reason it was a ‘surprise’ was because she wanted control since I wouldn’t have my wedding at her church and told her I wouldn’t have any wedding event there.

Very last comment.. by picture.. I meant a black and white photo of my fiance and I that I was going to include.. not a drawing or something. It was a formal picture of us that I had specifically for my invites.

Ok, I didn’t mean to make that rhyme… anyways, my fiance and I are planning a december wedding for next year, and we want to go somewhere with snow and skiing for our honeymoon. I’ve never seen snow! So, we were thinking about Colorado, or maybe canada. Any suggestions for hotels in Colorado? Should we look for a cabin, or just a hotel? We’d love a cabin with a fireplace, and very secluded and intimate… is that unrealistic? please give suggestions! Also, when do we need to book it? thanks in advance!

Help!!! I’m confused! What I really want to do is to go to Charleston,SC to get married next year and make it really simple but beautiful but that means that alot of our guest won’t beable to come. I feel like a part of me has to stay and have a local wedding so that all the guest can come but that also means more expense and planning involved. I know this is a one in a lifetime event for me so I don’t want to regret it years down the road. Does anyone have any ideas that I could do for the local people or should I just forget them and just think about me and future husband and close family members???
We have family all over the country. My family is in Florida and Michigan and some cousins in Alabama. His family is in Texas, Georgia and Florida. We know that who ever we invite they will not all come but the smalled the wedding the cheaper it is too. We want it to be a intimate wedding in Charleston and take a carriage over to the reception where ever it would be. We like the idea of a package wedding because it’s cheaper and not as stressful to plan. If we have it here in Tallahassee we will have so much more work and planning to do and more expense. We thought if we could do everything in one place the wedding and honeymoon it would be so much easier. Also we don’t want to wait more then 6 months so we are looking at a Spring wedding right now.

We are taking the cruise to a different island each day. Meals are included. How much are the drinks on the ship? On the islands? Has anyone been to Hawaii? I hear things are very expensive there.
