We were married on St Thomas, and its beautiful there. Its also close to St John, which is another great place to visit.
The most popular tropical honeymoon destinations are in the Caribbean and the South Pacific.
The Caribbean is the perfect choice if you are looking for not only gorgeous beach lines but also a distinct cultural experience and, in this region, you will see the local heritage mixed with African and European influences. In the South Pacific, there are destinations that will simply take your breath away from the islands of Fiji and Bora Bora to the tropical honeymoon exotic honeymoon destinations in Thailand and the Philippines. These places are just some of the gems in the South Pacific where you can enjoy not just the romantic sceneries but plenty of other activities as well not to mention the warmth of the people.
Of course, another dream honeymoon destination in the Pacific is Australia. While most people associate Australia with the outback, you will be pleasantly surprised to find that certain parts of the Continent offer a nice tropical ambiance. Moving on to South America, one of the top honeymoon choices is definitely Brazil which also combines rich culture and tradition as well as captivating beaches.
These places are some of the most popular tropical honeymoon destinations in the world. While they all offer the perfect ambiance that you are looking for, a lot still depends on your own personal preferences. Make sure to plan together to accommodate both your requirements and, most of all, enjoy every moment.
Go on a Cruise that goes to St. Thomas
This way you hit different islands but you can really enjoy your honeymoon together.
You will never forget it.
You might want to consult a travel agent. They can help you pick a place where you won’t get rained out and usually can find pretty great deals. They’re not expensive to use like people think.
Ok I know you said he doesn’t want to go to Hawaii…..
But I got married just this past April, and both of us thought Hawaii would be totally lame, but it was really the only place where 1) it was not the rainy season, 2) we would be able to safely leave the resort and 3) we wouldn’t have to stay in a resort because the whole island is safe and full of really cute condo rentals!
So we went to Maui, both really un-enthused because it felt like a cop-out. But once we got there, it was actually really great. Each day was reliable weather-wise. Sunny and warm! And the beaches were not too crowded. And you can walk all along the strip, and there are shops and restaurants and you can join in a beach volleyball game with the locals. You can surf and snorkel and take a dinner cruise…..
Anyway. If you really are dead set against Hawaii, some other places we had thought about were St. Lucia or the Bahamas. Or else a cruise through the Caribbean.
Keep in mind, a honeymoon is a little different from a regular trip. Usually you are out for adventure, to learn about a culture, etc. But on your honeymoon, you really just want to enjoy each other. So pick somewhere where you can bask on the beach, and where you can find a nice hotel room.
Aruba is very beautiful and tropical and a very nice place for a honeymoon. White sand beaches and water falls and more.Have a wonderful wedding day and a Happy Honeymoon.
the ocean is very nice but if you do not want to do vaccines special I will recommend your honeymoon in Tuscany, maybe a villa in Tuscany like this:

We’re going to Vietnam and Bali.
I would recommend an island circuit in French Polynesia that would include at least, Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora!
You can find pretty good deals these days…
Isla Mujeres, Mexico
Bora Bora
San Pedro, Belize
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
What do you think about a honeymoon in a villa in Tuscany (italy)?
For example, the Tuscan villa with pool for your exclusive use: http://www.agriturismocentopino.it/en/tuscany-villa-centopino-en ( the place is very beautiful, perfect for a honeymoon ).
If you go in Tuscany I suggest you also visit Siena, Florence, Pisa and San Gimignano.
