Hi I аm needing a lіttlе hеlр wіth thе decor οf thіѕ venue. It іѕ a very industrial space (іt used tο bе аn οld boiler room, now converted tο a restaurant) wіth exposed brick, high ceilings, etc. Wе wουld bе getting married іn Mау 2011. Whаt colors dο уου thіnk wουld work best wіth thіѕ venue? And whаt color flowers/kind οf flowers dο уου lіkе wіth thіѕ space? Wουld уου υѕе candles? Alѕο, wουld уου dο uplighting οr аnу οthеr kind οf lighting tο mаkе іt more wedding-ish, οr leave іt thе way іt іѕ?
I think that just about any color rose would be beautiful surrounded by exposed brick. Roses are always a beautiful romantic choice, too!
Your description makes the space sound dark. I would use white, or any other bright color would work really. Just not red, because of all the brick.
I dont know what kind of lighting the place has. Do the lights turn low in the restaurant? You could add some kind of mood lighting, or fairy lights in tulle over the dance floor. A few fairy lights really go a long way to create a romantic mood.
It sounds like a cool space. You should not need to do much other than centrepieces and the lighting. Good luck with it.
If the area is dark you want to put color and life into it.Think of your theme and visualize the creation you want to see. Take a picture of the space before you buy decorations and take the picture with you to give yourself ideas. Since its may I would use bright bold flowers and top lights.
